Me and my husband just moved to MB in Aug from MA and we are trying to meet new people but it's been hard to find people in our age group. We are in our late 20's. Does anyone have any ideas??????

I feel the same way you do! We moved here in August & I'm teaching in a little town near Kingstree. We're about 1 1/2 hours from Myrtle. We used to go all the time, but we haven't been there in about a month. I know that there must be young people around here somewhere... but I just can't seem to find them! Ha ha. I teach at 2 schools & there is only 1 other young teacher between both the schools! We hang out with her & her boyfriend a lot. Have you looked to see if there are any clubs you could join around there?

I moved here two years ago and felt the same way but I'm in my forties. There's a group online you can check out, it's meetup.com. You might see something of interest there. I belong to a few of the groups and made some friends from it. Good luck!
