Hi Guys,
Me and wife are planning to come to Myrtle beach this coming monday just for a getaway from work. We arent planning to swim or do anything special. Just relax in the hotel and take a walk on the beach for couple of days.

So, I am wondering how far is the Shertal Convention hotel is from the beach. Is it walkable distance.

Thank you

Yes it is walkable. It is less than a mile, probably only about 1/2 mile. Enjoy your visit

Thank you.

On a second thought, location of the hotel does not seem that convenient for beach walks. I might pick the Hampton Inn over this, if I could the rooms.

Thanks again

This time of year you should have no trouble finding cheap/free parking down at the beach if you choose to drive from the Sheraton.
