GF and I are driving up and staying at La Playa this coming weekend. Anything going on interesting in the Naples area? Nightlife on Sat? I know summer is slow over there.... I heard about the Mercato area?

Nightlife is pretty limited in Naples , you'd be better off driving to Ft. Myers beach if you're looking for actual clubs. You can find some things to do in Mercato like the movies and the pub and some ice cream. You can try 5th but from what I've heard its been a ghost town down there even on Fri and Sat nights.

Yes there is the Blue Martini there. I perfer The Pub its below the Silverspot theater and is all British themed. Good food. Blue Martini in the past year has had some issues with a good handful of people being drugged so we sort of avoid.
