We are planning to retire in SW FL. Can anyone who lives in the area, or has lived there, share the pros and cons of living in Bonita Springs. We would be looking for a single family home, probably new construction, upper 300's price range. Thanks so much for your feedback.

A few threads on BS...
It is nice area, just north of 'Naples', and often less pricey.
Has no real 'downtown' if that matters, but downtown Naples is only 30 mins.
Some very nice developments, both golf and non-golf.
Has its share of strip malls, roads, stoplights and other stuff, but so does most of SW FL.
Be aware of how close you are to I-75, as the road noise can be considerable, depending on location/wind, etc.
Take your time, look long and hard; there are lots of things for sale, used and new.
