I was told the temps during the late Spring through Summer are in the low 80's. It is about 96 now. What are the true temps durning this time of year?

"Low 80s" is possible, but not exactly common. The temps we're having now are on the high side, but not uncommon either. We usually get mid-high 90s in July/August. Likewise, mid 80s is not uncommon either. I'd say the avg temp is probably 89-92 this time of year. But that's just my guess.

When do the high temps start? My BIL just moved down there and someone told him it's suppose to be about 80 for this time of year and in July/Aug. I told him to think again!

HOT

It is normally in the upper 80s. I heard the weatherman say we have entered our "summer" pattern early this year, though, and it is going to be like this most of the summer. It is not normally in the mid-90s until August.

So, we'd better get used to it now.

The Sunday paper said temps right now are 10-15 degrees higher than usual right now. So low 80s for June is probably right. This is typical weather for July/August.
It is miserably hot, even our pool is like bath water.

Someone lied to you. Low 80s are mid-spring temperatures...especially south of Nashville.

Cool Weather doesn't come until late October - early November.

Mid July through Mid September is the worst.

I told him that it's hot there.. We lived in SW Florida for 6 years and the temps were close to the same as the Spring Hill area. He was listening to someone who doesn't know what they are talking about. His wife also thought she knew what she was talking about pertaining to the hot temps.
She was WRONG! Now they are complaining about the heat down there.
He doesn't like the heat... oh well
