I have to relocate due to a job and a 45 minute drive is just to long twice a day. The rental office won't let me out of my lease without charging me everything and anything they can think of. What can I do? I think they should be able to let me out of it no problem after almost two years of living here and raising everything they are charging me to an extream. But they are not nice people! please help!!

What kind of lease are you on? Have you read it? Are they within the boundaries of the lease by charging what they are charging or are they just making it up as they go hoping you will pay and not actually read your lease?

Exactly! Read your lease. Although it sounds like you've been a loyal tenant for 2 years, if fees, etc are in the lease then they are within their rights to charge you.

Most apartments are 60-day notice to not be charged, and a full month's rent if within the 60-day notice. What apartment complex are you in?
