I'm looking to get my first tattoo in the upcoming weeks of my family crest and was wondering what would be the best bet to get a good ink job without having to pay an extreme amount. Anywhere in Nashville, Murfreesboro, Lebanon, or Franklin would be where I would like to get it.

I've got 2 from Forever Yours in Old Hickory/Lakewood and my father has 3 from there too. They've been in business for decades and do good work. I'd go in, meet with an artist and show them your design, have them sketch it or at least discuss if they can do it, then set up a time to come back and have it done. If its intricate, the artist may want a day or two to play around with it first. Or, he may be ready to do it the same day...it just depends.

My girlfriend and her twin sister both had tattoo's done at black 13 and left extremely happy. The studio is really nice and the artists were very friendly. I sat and waited while they got inked and I was very pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed myself just sitting and waiting. I did look at the artists portfolio's while I was waiting and there is some incredible talent in that place.
I would definitely check them out!
