I have graduated college over the summer...YAY...I have decided that East TN scenery is getting kinda old to me. So I took a job with TDOC. My monthly payment wont leave very much after auto insurance, and student loan re payment. So what I was wondering is there appartments in the zip codes of 37129 or 37128, that are pretty cheap (like still college student cheap) or would I be better to go more towards Nashville?
Thanks,
A Still Broke Graduate!

Cheap is a relative term. What are you planning to budget toward rent each month?

If you want to live "college student cheap," get a few roommates like college students do. Otherwise, you'll probably need a rent budget of about $600/month for a basic 1BR in a good, safe area. If you catch a good special or rent at an off-peak time of year, you might be able to sneak in at closer to $500/mo, but you shouldn't count on it.
