Thank you! (Franklin, Brentwood: where to stay, house, price)

A few months back, I asked about a place to stay with my children while visiting your great city! We had volunteered at a church over in Brentwood and everyone that responded truly help guide the path.

I made a bid on Priceline and chose the Brentwood area for my bid. we got the Marriott Courtyard in Maryland Farms which was a really nice stay for 45 dollars a night! It was very safe, infact we had an incident.
Nothing horrible but it shook my young teen up enough to be more careful and follow things through.

My young teen followed me into our room after going to get a snack in their snack store, and she DID NOT turn around and close the door completely. I had no idea. Just went in the room and figured she shut the door. Fortunatly, there is a safety latch on the door. Not long, security was at the door making sure we were ok. They monitor those halls!

On our off day, we went to Franklin to see Carnton Plantation and took a tour. It was quite an experience and it was very insightful to see everything up close in the house there and to learn about that battle and the significance of it in the Civil War.

In all, we had a nice time and would not hestitate to stay in the Maryland Farms area again. Great shopping strip, loved the Publix, got hair done at Dolcee's and was able to select from fast food to nice sit down casual for dinner and lunch.
