These are the policies for Williamson County.

Williamson County Schools

Housing tends to run high in Williamson. Are you planning to rent or buy? What is your price range?

This link is for the county schools. The high schools are county run:

Thank you for the links, I will definitely look at them. I'm not ruling anything out right now.

Thank you for the link. I will definitely be exploring it. I also found out that friends of mine from high school live in Franklin. She is going to help me try and connect with some parents since her children are close in age to my son and her husband is in the construction industry so they will both be a big help. I know that housing is on the higher side in Williamson and coming from NY I am used to that. He is currently renting in Smyrna and will be there for at least a year so we have plenty of time to decide where we'd like to go. We are plainning to buy 3-5 acres to built a log home. We are meeting with builders this weekend to try and get a realistic idea of what the home will cost, then we will be able to budget what we will be able to spend on land. I've looked briefly at land is different areas and have seen a wide range of prices. Thats why I'm trying to really narrow it down and learn the areas so we can visit them.
