I attended the Bon Iver concert last night and sat in Section 6, Row Y. The balcony is definitely in play from these seats - I'm 6'4". When you're seated, it's fine but if you stand up, chances are you'll have a nice view of the chest and legs of the band. It didn't affect my experience since the crowd was seated for most. Next time, I'll probably try to get balcony seats. Oh, and the benches are hard (think church pew) so a seat cushion may help with that. Overall, my wife and I had a great time!

I was afraid of that...sorry you were semi-obstructed. But at least everyone sat down for the most part.

They really should consider X, Y, and Z obstructed view.

I've always had good luck with Ryman floor seats...so long as you're in rows A-S the seats are great. Except for the church pew comfort.

This is an old post but still looked at.

To answer this person 2 years too late, I'd rather be in a back row in the balcony than the back row on the main floor.
