Hi all!
My wife and I along with our 8 year old son are considering a move to the Nashville area. We are coming in for a visit at the end of August. My wife's employer lives in College Grove. I am in the restarant business and hope to secure a job in Nashville. Obviously, our main focus is making sure our son goes to a good school. I understand public schools are very good near Franklin. Are there better public schools elsewhere we should look into? We will be looking at Spring Hill, Thompson Station, Franklin, Nolensville among others. Is Murfressboro an area we should consider? We plan on purchasing a home in the 325-350K arena. I've looked on line and there are a pleathera of nice homes for sale. Seems like a very good time to buy. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I don't mind a commute of 30-40 minutes. I live in LA so I'm use to living in my car. Being in the restaurant business it's likely I'll be working late afternoon and evening hours so I bet driving into and out of Nashville won't be so tough. Thanks.
Yazbird

I think you posted elsewhere, too...what price range are you looking in if you decide on Franklin? There is quite a range of home prices here, so it would help to narrow it down.
