Hello, I'm relocating to Nashville for a job and would like to move my family into Franklin. But, I'm noticing that the rental homes are going really fast. I'd like to lock down a place within the next week for a MAy move in but wasn't sure if I should do my looking in May instead. I've been looking in realtor.com, Craigslist and realtracs, does anyone else have good sources? Any advice or solicitations are welcome-I need help! I'd like a 3 Bdr with, 1700 plus sq ft for around $1800.

I think you are looking in the usual places but you may find prices are going up and houses are hard to rent right now since they seem to be selling like hotcakes.

Seriously, you might just have to 'settle' for something less than ideal - very tight market. BUT since school finishes up in late May, you might find more available in June. May is a big turnover month. Does it have to be a HOUSE? Maybe a townhome or apartment? I had friends get a nice townhome in Brentwood off of Fredricksburg Way for $1800. 3 bedroom. Look in that area on Zillow with the Rental option in the filter.

I drove by one today that looked awesome. It's on Franklin Road, just south of the Franklin Rd/Liberty Pike intersection. It's on the west side of the street. I think the sign read $1750, 1900 square feet. If I drive by there tomorrow on my way to lunch, I'll verify and post again.

Best of luck!

Hi Commuter, unfortunately I can't find this home on Zillow. I know I'm asking a lot, but would you be able to send the house #? That would be a huge help!

I know decent apartments in complexes in Franklin go for $1,000 - $1,200 and I know 2 BR townhomes can go for $1400 so I don't think that is unreasonable for a house, although you can't see inside . . . so, hard to tell. Am sure there are cheaper options but I'd say this is the norm?
