There are many different types of private schools in the area. We could probably be of more help with more information. What price range, grade levels, educational focus do you seek? Secular or religious?

In the meantime, here are a few links you might find useful-

Ensworth School
University School of Nashville
Franklin Road Academy
Linden Waldorf School of Nashville
Home | The Covenant School
abintra-montessori
Harpeth Hall School, a college preparatory school for girls in grades 5-12 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Montgomery Bell Academy

Right, I mean the CLOSEST schools to Forest Hills are CPA, which is basically IN Forest Hills, Franklin Road Academy and Brentwood Academy.

But I would think the type of education and environment you want matters more than location.

Want a private Christian ( Protestant ) school k-12 for daughters but does not have to be girls only.

SIL and brother are looking around Hillsboro Pike for homes. How far out is it still in Nashville ?

It's on the southernmost city limits of Nashville just north of the Williamson County/Brentwood city limits.

If you are willing to look at K-6 schools as well, Oak Hill is a great school.

There's been a lot of shake up at FRA the last 2 years, so I would investigate what's going on before choosing it.

We have several friends with children at CPA and have heard great things about it.

Forest Hills is a small independent city within Davidson County. It is semi-autonomous. It does not have its own police or fire...it uses Metro for that.

Belle Meade, Berry Hill, Forest Hills, Goodlettsville, and Oak Hill are the independent cities within Davidson County. If you are not within the city limits of those places, you are in Nashville. Nashville merged with the county government in 1963. So in some ways, everything in the county is "Nashville."

What is CPA ?

Is it mostly music industry out there or is there a good cross section of people in non industry related professions ?

To me, along Hillsboro Pike, it looks like a lot of McMansions and not a community feel but that is where they were advised to look.

Does anyone know about Brentwood United Methodist ? Does iy have a school ?
