Hi everyone. My family will be visiting Nashville next week and I was looking for some ideas on what to do while we are in town.
My husband and I are in our mid thirties, we have a 7 yr old son and will have our 12lb minpin/chihuahua with us. We are booked at a hotel near downtown for two nights and will be staying with family in KY nearby another 2 nights, so we may make a few day trips as well.
We have visited tourist websites and such, and have some ideas, but were curious what real people who live there would say.
Are there any must see spots? What should we stear clear from? Where are the best places to eat? We are hoping to have one "adults only" night as well.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you are in town on a Wednesday/Thursday/or Friday night I highly recommend the LIGHT exhibit at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens. It's stunning and fun for kids. Not sure they take dogs though.

You can make reservations at the restaurant or bring Subway sandwiches and a blanket. I haven't been eaten by mosquitoes yet but you might want to also bring some bug spray . . .
