I will be relocating to the Bellevue area next week for work and need some advice. We are buying all new furniture when we get there and it looks like there are a ton of furniture stores in the Nashville area. Our budget is somewhat limited so we are trying to find a furniture store that is relatively inexpensive with decent quality furniture. Ones that offer financing options and next day delivery would definitely be a plus. Thanks everyone!!

You might look at this recent thread: //www.city-data.com/forum/nashv...nashville.html

I've had reasonably good luck in the past buying from Haverty's in Cool Springs. It's in between cheap and really expensive furniture. The furniture business is going through something of a change due to more and more furniture being made overseas, so things might be different now.

Rooms To Go might be your best bet.

By the way, you can buy a few things that are decent for the price on Amazon (with free shipping). I bought a nightstand for the second bedroom that way that looks good, even though it's not really a great piece of furniture.

Welcome to Bellevue. I've lived there for close to 30 years.

Also look at American Signature in Cool Springs.

Oh PLEASE try to buy off craigslist! Couples are continually coming and going and you can buy near brand new stuff for almost nothing! I got a brand new washer dryer set for 400 dollars and the couple delivered it to me! It was worth 1200 at least. The bargains for used goods in Nashville are amazing, I wouldn't buy anything new but a Mattress and even that can be had from decent couples moving or marrying. Finally even if you do retail do NOT pay full price, they slash stuff here to 80% off on sale so really be a tough sell on anything new!
