Looking to rent a fun car when the wife and I come down to visit. Looks like most of the airport rental places are already sold out of the good ones. Budget rental has a "standard convertible" with a picture of a mustang but then says "or similar.

I do not want to commit to that "mustang" and find out I'm getting a dang Sebring when I go to pick it up. Anyone know of any rental places that have sport cars--vettes, mustangs, porche, etc?

I already tried Franklin Nissan to see if they rent 370Z, but, unfortunately they do not

Forgot to add, not looking for anything super exotic like a Ferrari. Just something fun and within a 500ish budget for the 4 days.

Drool. I wish, but about an order of magnitude out of my budget lol. Not to mention a 300k car with 600 HP probably isn't the best car for learning how to drive a stick.

Hertz at BNA may have something special in their Prestige selection...but it's certainly a YMMV.

I do it every day, not so bad. Also, look at it this way: would you want to learn to drive stick on your car? A new clutch is expensive!
