OK, but you're willing to spend $100K on the property alone? Are you a cash buyer, or do you have a property to sell?

Also, 1 acre here is not that big. Many yards in this area are 1 acre. If you don't want ANYone around you, you will need 5 acres MINIMUM.

Depends on woods or open area. No side by side housing area will not work for me. 1 ac will work if it will perk for three bed room home. Woods on sides/back if possible. Do you have anything? I have two great builders in the area that will work with me. I have done a lot of looking in the area and have ran into rock problems, flood zone problems or not in a good location. Need a POC to email you if you have something?

I don't have a property to sell you. I was going to suggest areas to look, but it sounds like you need a realtor.

Rock and flooding are very common here.

I have a realtor. I'm thinking and working out of the normal box trying to find something that will make my dreams come true. Someone out in the Smyrna area might know someone that has something for sale that will meet my needs. I have been working for DOD all over the world for 38 years and I have came to the area for some TN time and to care of our Vets. Something for sale by owner or name of some roads to drive on that has some land for sale would be the kind of information I need? Also looking for a all Brick/stone home 2200-2500 SQ FT, all electric heat/cooling, one story, 2—car garage, 2BAs, 3 BRs, no HOA. My wife needs a place with some privacy not surrounded by homes please 1-5 acres. A one level home is very hard thing to find in the 2200-2500 SQ FT range.

Thanks for the feedback. I hope some of the people out there might be able to help me out.
