Hello,

I have searched the forum to see if there where previous posts that discussed using Direct TV in the Nashville area and came up short. My question is simple, how reliable is Direct TV in this area? With so many storms, do you lose connections often or just once in a while? I am trying to decide between Comcast and Direct TV. Any info you could provide would be helpful

I lose it very little, and have had it 8 years in Hendersonville. Usually when I lose it, they retain local stations throughout most of the stormy period. .

I had it in Mt Juliet and only lost it a very few times, usually when the rain was beating down on the dish itself. That said, I think a lot of it depends on the installer's quality. I wouldn't cut corners when it comes to installation.
