We have been looking online and found some nice houses in the Oxford Hall Sub. We were wondering how this sub. is and we would also like to know how the schools are that are zoned for this sub. (Barfield Elementary,Christina Middle and Riverdale High).

Sandy,
You should be able to investigate schools and make your own judgment through online research like:

GreatSchools.net
SchoolMatters - Home
Rutherford County Schools

I have been on some of those sites and they do tell you alot about the school but I would also like to know from the parents that have sent or send their children to these schools what it is like. There is only so much info. that the sites give you. Thank you for your info.

I don't have kids that have attended, but I know some parents that have kids that attended all 3 schools and I have spent time in 2 of the 3. I would have no reservations about any of the 3. All three have some overcrowding issues, but that's pretty much everywhere here.

As far as the subdivision goes, it seems nice, but I have a feeling the part of Indian Park Dr close to Church St. will go downhill in a few years. That's just my feeling though.

Why do you think that about Indian Park Dr.? Do you see or hear alot about crime in that area? Does anyone else feel the same way about it?

It's just hunch I have; as far as I know there isn't much crime out there at all.

The only reason I think that is because the homes are very affordable in that area and it's relatively dense. Those two factors are usually found in areas with crime.
