What about "Dead Malls" - ? Two former malls from that area made the list...

DeadMalls.com: Hickory Hollow Mall: Nashville, Tennessee

DeadMalls.com: Harding Mall: Nashville, Tennessee

It would still be far from my first choice of where to live.
Glad it's not your choice to live here, we've got many more that want to!

It had no place to go but up after hitting rock bottom a few years ago. Congrats to that part of town on at least not being satisfied with what it had turned into for a while. (Kind of like when people pay something a pseudo-compliment by saying it's "better than nothing.")

It never hit rock bottom like you and others wanted it to... some have tried really hard to, but it's not happening... but again, I'm really glad you enjoy the area of town you live in, I know it is perfect there. Thanks for leaving room for those who want to live in Antioch!

That was the name of the website. Providing that information is not racist.

The name of the site is racist. I didn't say you were.

I also wouldn't expect that site to provide accurate and unbiased information.

Default accurate and unbiased information

I doubt very seriously that the website was created to provide accurate and unbiased information. It was created (presumably) to point out some of the humorous things that were observed at Hickory Hollow as it was going under. The captions were quite funny (in my opinion) as they illustrated how the mall changed so much from a thriving shopping destination to a cavernous shell inhabited by flea market type businesses selling their wares...no different from 100 Oaks.

What does the name "Hickory Harlem" imply?
