Has anyone eaten at the Texas Roadhouse in Franklin? It's on Galleria Boulevard. Were the steaks any good?

Yep, we have eaten there. Texas Roadhouse is a chain. They are pretty good wherever you go. I like that they give you several choices of sides and usually have several types of vegtables to pick from. My kids like the bottomless buckets of peanuts and of course making the mess on the floor with the peanut shells. They think that is cool that you are expected to throw them on the floor.

I would compare them to something like O'Charleys or Fridays...with a bit of a twist. The peanuts are fun (my 7 year old thinks it's cool, too) and they have good salads.

Are you new to Franklin?

Thanks for the information. No, we are not new to the area. I was just trying to find a new restaurant for steaks. I saw this restaurant on the Franklin Rodeo website so I thought that it might be good enough to try. I actually had never heard of it before I was checking out the rodeo website. The Franklin rodeo looks like it will be a lot of fun. My husband and I are planning to go this year.

Thanks again for responding.

You've tried Stoney River then, right? I'm not a steak-eater, but my husband LOVES that place.

As a matter of fact, we haven't tried Stoney River. Looks very good on their website. Great, another place to for us to try. Thanks so much.

Stoney River is good but some people think that it is very pricey.

Oh, it's expensive, no doubt.

Does anyone know what happened to Texas Roadhouse in Franklin? I ate there for lunch one day, then the next day I went to the mall and the windows were all boarded up and a for lease sign out front!! They were my favorite steaks anywhere, I loved their sauteed mushrooms and loaded sweet potato, too!
