Hello

My family will move next month to the Hendersonville area. Although we will reside in an apartment , I am hoping within 2 years we will have found the perfect area to buy. We would like to stay under $230,000 if possible. Can any one advise on the La Vergne, Smyrna, Hermitage and Hendersonville areas? We have adult children so schools are not a major factor. Thanks

As far as general livability I would probably rank them

Hendersonville
Hermitage
Smyrna (2 and 3 can be interchangeable and some may disagree with my ranking)
La Vergne

I'm not as up on Hendersonville as I used to be as far as affordability goes but my assumption is that it'll be the priciest of them. Hermitage is largely fine, although it has its issues just like anywhere in Metro Nashville will. Right next door to Hermitage to the east is Mt Juliet and while 230k won't come easy there, if at all, it may be worth looking. Hendersonville and Mt Juliet are often compared to one another. Overall, Smyrna is pretty good and it's more doable on 230k. I'd avoid La Vergne. It isn't horrible but your other choices are probably more what you're looking for.
