Moved to Spring Hill this year and of all the restaurants (chain and local) in town, two glaring omissions are Chipotle and Jimmy John’s.

Well, Chipotle is coming in 2021 (supposedly in the recently closed Dairy Queen) according to the Williamson Source, but still no Jimmy John’s. I’m baffled they aren’t here. We have Jersey Mike’s, Subway and Firehouse but no Jimmy John’s.

What’s going on? Are there plans to put one here?

Funny that you posted this...I have the post a few below yours asking about living in Spring Hill and commuting to Cool Springs (I'm moving to the Nashville area next year). I was just in Spring Hill yesterday for the first time checking out the lay of the land. One thought I had was that there seemed to be a lot of fast food but not a whole lot of sit-down restaurants. I saw places like Olive Garden, Chilis, Logan's Roadhouse - but what about more local places or other chains? Was actually wondering if a common complaint is that there are not enough local or casual restaurants in Spring Hill?

As for Jimmy John's, if I do move to Spring Hill then I'll join the effort to convince them to set up shop...I'd hate to give it up (although my waistline might appreciate it )

There are a fair amount of sit down places, but it’s not a Franklin/Cool Springs/Brentwood level yet. IMO, Spring Hill is really just starting to come into its own.

I saw your original post, if proximity to Cool Springs is what you want, Spring Hill is what you are looking for. Murfreesboro is ok, but it’s further away and a bit more of a drag. You can find decent homes in your budget on either side of the county in Spring Hill (half is in Williamson and half is in Maury), it all depends on your situation. The one downside to Spring Hill is the infrastructure isn’t up to par for where it needs to be, but they are addressing it.

Thanks for your reply. I tried the drive between Spring Hill and Cool Springs, at least once during rush hour. Seemed fine to me at least now. The drive between Franklin and Murfressboro on the other hand was just too long for my taste. Do you know anything about Spring Hill Towne Crossing? Seems like a mixed-use development that might bring some desired retail/restaurants there as well if that gets off the ground.

The owner/founder of Jimmy John’s and his wife have bought two multimillion dollar adjoining farms in Franklin, so they may be moving here. Maybe that will encourage them to expand in this area.

Some local places to try in Spring Hill:
Martin’s BBQ, 55 South, and Tito’s are all local restaurants with locations in Spring Hill.
Viking Pizza is great.
Circa in Thompson Station is good, more upscale.

And if you are willing to drive south, there are several good local options including The Dotted Lime, Barino’s, and a great pie shop downtown.

Not super local, but I love Jonathan's Grille in the Crossings. It's a local (Mid TN) sports bar & grill chain. I use to eat at the one in Cool Springs all the time.

I just can't believe there is no Jimmy Johns in town.
