My husband and I would like to take the kids to Ice at Opryland. We live near Huntsville, AL and want to visit for the day. I have some questions and I hope someone out there can help.

Is it a really large place?
Is there somewhere there to eat lunch/dinner?
Tickets for the weekend can't be purchased online. Is the line to get in on a Saturday long?
It looks like an amazing and magical place. Is it worth a 1 1/2 hour drive?
This is the last year for the Grinch. Do you know what is taking its place and what was in its place before?

Thank You!

The hotel is huge. The Restaurants are expensive, but they recently added a burger place and a pasta place which are under $10 for an entree. Its on the Island where they have a small riverboat that goes thru, at a cost.
The hotel has beautiful gardens to walk thru and its the 19th largest hotel in the world.
