Wanted to have a nice picnic with the kiddos on our summer visit...
Does Puckett's have stuff you can pick up to go like potato salad, fried chicken, or deli meat, etc?? Also can you recommend a nice place to picnic in the Franklin or Leiper's Fork area? Thank you so much..

Not exactly in Franklin, but the Warner parks are great places to have picnics. I prefer Edwin Warner Park, as the main loop is closed to cars and you can walk in pure peace and quiet. Plus it's beautiful this time of year.

I was thinking surely there is somewhere out near Leiper's to throw down a blanket and enjoy the beautiful rolling hills, etc...No??

Get on the Natchez Trace at Lieper's Fork as their are a lot of pull off/picnic areas on the Trace(about every 5-8 miles).
