Hi all,

I am looking for a club with good music (for this Sat. so any recs?) that take reservations for seating. Standing in line for too long is not an option this time.

Normally we try the bluebird or the family wash, but neither will do this time.

any others?

cheers and thanks

oh, music type is pretty eclectic, bluegrass/folk/americana/classic country/indie preferred but quality a key.

Maybe the Exit/In? You can visit their website and see who's playing.

The E/I isn't what it once was, but you might enjoy it. And our trivia factoid for today: Steve Martin claims he perfected his zany comedy routine at the E/I. He used to take the whole audience out into the street back in the 70s.

Puckett's in Franklin for this Saturday, but I wouldn't call it a club....

Franklin- Saturday, April 18–David Ball and Band
David Ball has taken Music City by storm with some famous shows including kick-off for the CMA music festival in June of 2005. He’s made “Thinkin’ Problem”, and “Riding With Private Malone” famous nationwide. David returned to his Texas roots, touring and performing there for thefew years. In 2008 he assembled an all-star band in Nashville, who have worked with such artists as Dwight Yoakum, John Michael Montgomery,
and Lionel Hampton. David continues writing songs, and is fired up about
his new live show. 8:30 show w/ $10 cover charge, reservations 615-794-5527.

David Ball was great in the early-to-mid 1990's, along with Joe Diffie, Mark Chesnutt, Tracy Lawrence, Doug Stone, Rhett Akins, Doug Supernaw, David Lee Murphy, Wade Hayes, and many others.

That was quality country music, before frosty-haired androgynous p---ies like Rascal Flatts and Keith Urban took over the genre.

yes, thanks, but as I asked in my original post, I have already looked at bluebird (we go all the time) and they are booked this weekend.

I am looking basically for the same set up as the bluebird, but just not the bluebird

Was that really in there this whole time LOL! Sorry, missed it. Try the Listening Room. Very similar. In Cummins Station. You can reserve a table (it'll have your name on it when you arrive), great music and decent food.
