We are looking at rentals there and Franklin. As we have 2 dogs and a cat and visiting teens,we are looking for a 3BR with a fenced yard, preferably near a good area to dog walk,or a dog park.Have read quite a bit about Franklin, but not about Berrys Chapel, which appears to be on the border of Franklin and Brentwood.
Thanks in advance!

I should add that we are looking anywhere within a short commute to the intersection of Carothers Pkway and Cool Springs Blvd. Country privacy would be fabulous. We just haven't found that for under $2000/month.

I can't tell you much about the area. I know it just by driving through it on Hillsboro Pike on the way to Franklin. There's some open land around that part of Hillsboro Pike, which makes that part of the area somewhat "scenic". The houses in the area are nice (typical suburban houses, mostly built in the 60s to the 80s, I think), with larger yards than is typical these days. The area is clean and well-kept; I would assume it's a nice place to live.

I don't know of a park in that area. It's a few miles drive, but the Warners Parks are up the road from Berrys Chapel--they are very large parks.

It is definitely more rural than most of Franklin. Good location. Close to cool springs, downtown franklin and there are some local stores in Grassland. Also very easy commute to GreenHills.

I live in Grassland and you could walk your dogs on several tracts at Grassland Middle School. Also, Percy Warner park has a dog park.

Here are a couple of listings in the Berrys Chapel area.
