My wife and I will be moving into a new house soon and I was wondering where is the best place to get moving boxes? I've been to the grocery stores in the past, but the quality of boxes you can get vary. We'd like to get them for free. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Have you tried furniture stores or appliance places (like Sears)? When we moved we just talked to a few local places and they gave us tons.

You can get them at the same places where you can rent uHaul trucks or at those storage facilities. If you go back to the grocery store, ask for egg boxes. They're big and have handles.

For glassware and other breakables, I get free boxes from a liquor store. A case of liquor is heavy, expensive and breakable, so the boxes are made of very heavy cardboard and will hold heavy stuff like books. But they won't have any large boxes which you will need.
