I'm already from Tennessee, Union City to be exact. It's 2 hours west of Clarksville. I've been to Clarksville twice. I thought it seemed like a nice quiet city, and it didn't "feel" big with traffic etc. I've never been to Franklin or Spring Hill, but from what I read they seem nice with lots of stores and restaurants. I'm just wondering from a small town girl like myself, would Franklin and Spring Hill be too busy and overwhelming for me? Also, wondering if it's even possible to rent apartments in any of these places for around $600 a month? I've looked online and most seem to want $700 or more.=/ I can't afford that. Yet, when I was looking at Raleigh, NC I could find ample apartments in the $600 range. I'm just looking at cities closer to home now to get use to eventually moving further away. As this will be the first time moving out from my parents. I'm also considering Paducah and Murray, KY. Since they're a little over an hour away. Thanks for any information. I appreciate it.

Franklin to me has a smaller town feel than we have here in Clarksville. Always enjoy my trips there. I am sure that whether you join us in the fair city of Clarksville or relocate to Franklin you will be happy.

I would like to relocate to Spring Hill and I am looking for a safe/affordable apartment complex-any thoughts?

There aren't a ton of apartments in Spring Hill -- mostly houses. But I looked at an apartment guide and saw that there are a few options.

Generally speaking, Spring Hill is a safe place. I wouldn't worry a whole lot about that. However, I don't have any experience with apartments down there, so I don't know about how nice they are or how management is.
