Can you recommend a decent place to stay for a few days???
I will be taking my grand daughters cousin back home to Clarksville TN as her Mom has returned from Iraq, she's stationed at Ft Campbell KY but lives in Clarksville TN..I can stay there of course but I am never comfortable staying with some one else.
Have you drove from NJ to TN? If so how bad is the ride???

THX!!!

NJ to TN is a long drive. I think it took me almost 16 hours (starting in Hoboken). Should be about 15 though if you are going to Clarksville. Just don't speed on 81 in VA. I'm still bitter about my speeding ticket.

16 hours from Rehoboth, DE to Nashville. Should be about the same from central NJ.

I've driven fron Northern NJ to Nashville MANY times and it's a very relaxed and serene ride. If you can drive the Garden State Parkway or the NJ Turnpike, the ride to TN will seem almost effortless. As the other's said...just don't speed.

kATE,

I drove here on the NJ tpke, to PA tpke. Clarksville is off I-24. It took us and my son 13 hours from Manalapan and oldbridge. Check the DM I sent.
I can't wait until I get my desktop back tomorrow. I can't type on this Laptop.
I got a nasty virus that pretends its a virus protecter. I do have McAlfee, it went right past it.

I sent some Hotel links, I know there are more, all fairly new. All have free Breakfast. I was there with my club a few months agoo . We went to Beachaven Winery. The riverwalk there is fairly new. It was not there when I went to Austin Peay State U

McAfee is junk. I have fixed about 6 computers with that virus on it. All has McAfee

Use AVG Free - Download Free Antivirus and Antispyware for Windows 7, Vista and XP or www.avast.com
Loads better antivirus and FREE.
