I am graduating this May with my masters degree and am wanting to move to Nashville right after to teach grades Pre-k through 3rd. I have been researching a lot on the topic but am not finding nearly enough! =/

Does anyone know the possibility of finding a job in the primary grades? (could be public/charter/private)

And what other school districts/counties should I look for other than MNPS? I would like to live near the city since I would be moving up alone.

Thank you so much!

check teachers.teachers.com

They always seem to have openings in Nashville although they are struggling with money. I just moved here a year ago and got a teaching job in Williamson County.
Good luck any other questions let me know

Lots of teachers commute. If you're interested, Williamson County is opening two new elementary schools next year. Here is a link to the careers section of their website. WCS Careers (http://www.wcs.edu/careers/index.htm - broken link)
You will be paid more if you work in a public school system than in a private school.
