Hello everyone ,
I am driving this thanks giving from North Platte to Denver in a mid-size car (Corrolla).

Google maps is suggesting me 2 routes and those are following :

I-80 W and I-76 W

I-80 W and I-25 S

Consider the time of weather , can some recommend a route to take ?

Also , I will great if some can suggest me things to do in Denver ??

Go straight south of North Platte to McCook and get on hwy 34 and go west. At least you can avoid interstate until Fort Morgan...

So far as Denver, our family's faves are:

*Denver Zoo (in case this thread resurfaces when it's NOT early winter. lol)
*Museum of Natural History
*Denver Art Museum
*The Firefighter's Museum
*The Mint
*Casa Bonita ("Mexican" food. Extreme schtick, but one of those places you have to try just to say you did)
*The Children's Museum
And the ever popular--

*Riding the free shuttle up and down the 16th Street Mall.
Country kids are easily entertained. The elevator in our hotel is always a high point, too.

Why would you go to McCook I dont get it. If your just going to Denver and not any further south just take 76 all the way. Just a tip as well if its not snowing stick to the left lane once you fill bumps, trust me you will thank me later, I drive the route a lottttt!!

If you're in a hurry, take the interstate.

Otherwise, why would you take such a dull road on purpose?
