Lincoln church suggestions (live, teaching, children)

Hi! My family and I recently moved to Lincoln and are trying to narrow down which churches we should visit. We are looking for a Bible teaching, non-charismatic, non-reformed/Calvinist church with contemporary music and a great kids' program. Our preference would be to find one in the southern part of Lincoln as that is where we live. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

We had difficulty finding a church in Lincoln that we really loved. Over the course of our first 6 months in Lincoln, we attended 7 or 8 different churches. We finally settled on Lincoln Berean at the intersection of 70th St. and Highway 2. While we don't love the church as much as the one we came from in California, it is a very good church.

Lincoln Berean has an excellent children's program and good/modern worship.

I feel that the Senior Pastor, Brian Clark, is well-versed and extremely sharp. I do find his sermons to be a little dry, but others disagree with me, so maybe it's just me.

The other thing that some might consider a negative is the size of the church. It is very large and can be somewhat impersonal. I'm okay with that though and feel that in a large church you will have opportunities to create a community that fits what you are looking for, you just have to take the time and make the effort to connect.
