I am a 21 year old kid that got an internship in the Valentine area for the summer working at TPC. I just thought I would ask what there is to do around the Valentine area for a 21 year old college aged kid from Wisconsin. I am obviously big into Golf and pretty much any sports but I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts? Thanks!

Valentine is a very small town, basically out in the middle of nowhere. Unless you really like the outdoors, and wide open spaces, it's going to be a long summer for you.

Bring your .22 rifle and your fishing equipment a 4 wheeler if you have one. The Valentine National Wildlife Refuge is right there.
You have Meritt Dam close by, some of the best fishing in the state. You also Prairie Dogs all over place pretty easy to get on a town and shoot all day long.

You have a high population of Farm girls that love out of town college guys. Beer drinking is also encouraged, just don't drink and drive. You can float the Niobrara River that has float trips everyday. A good place to meet girls and drink beer.

The Valentine area in the summer is like party central for the state, lots to do.

Wow, you just missed the highlight of living in Valentine. Valentine's day was last Friday.

It's kind of like groundhog day in Punxsutawney.
