Something needs to be done to get the guy his gun rights back.

New Hampshire governors have considered 379 pardon requests and granted only 11 since 1986. The only way he will get that is have the actual conviction overturned.

Quote:
Bird was checking the safety, before entering his home and was about to call the cops.

By his admission, he stated he removed the magazine. An odd move for anyone compitent with a firearm. Plus is also renders the handgun imopertive with the threat still nearby.

Quote:
Bird said he had a .45-caliber handgun in the back waistband of his pants during the encounter with Harris, but he insisted he removed it only to take out the ammunition clip before re-entering his house. He said he kept the gun pointed to the ground while doing so.
But there is much not printed in the media and I doubt he would be talking to anyone outside legal council or close friends. That is in his best interest.

Of course if I were him, I'd ignore that law anyways but that's just me...

I agree, but am not informed as to what excatly he had to sign.

Lynch screwed the pooch. I can live with that easy enough. Lynch set off all the liberals because he let Bird go, and Lynch set off all the conservitives for not making the pardon in full.

Lynch won't see another term no matter what he does now.

Ward Bird for Governor He can pardon himself then.

rscalzo. Bird was tawkin a lot last night standing on Rt 171. he was real happy too. He was met by a Flash Mob. I was notified with less than 30 minutes warning and I was there before Bird was.

Someone I assume not happy about this showed up and drove accelerating the engine skidding sideways in a street which was very crowed with people, and small kids.

Evidently it's of if you are a gun hating liberal, to use a car as a deadly weapon.

Luckily that driver didn't spin out and crash, or there is a good chance that driver would just be a greasy spot in a plow line.

There were around 125 persons by my count last night and I didn't count me or my wife.

I really hope that all of this "Ward Bird for Governor" stuff is just hyperbole. I find it really disturbing.

Maybe you should leave and find a thread that doesn't disturb you.

I can't imagine why he'd take the magazine out, but then, when you're upset you don't always think straight.

Geeze man the troubles I git in ta' fer making up creative bits, and butcherin' a few words huh?

I made it up, Ward Bird for Governor.
I made up Calliwags fer california, so far that one flies

These lefties should go worry about windsheild wipers frozen to glass, and or too much snow on un-secured loads. I saw a subaru forester today crash his wipers, absolutely trashing the wiper linkage. That will be expensive.

Might be a good idea to nominate Ward Bird fer real eh?

It's not a liberal/conservative thing. It's a fact that he has a history of being arrested and illegal behaviors. I don't care if you think he should be released or not, frankly, but let's not pretend this guy is some kind of hero. Neither is Ms. Harris. How about a governor with a history of intelligent and rational decision making? That'd be a good pick no matter the politics.

Whatever he is, he's not deserving of being branded a felon and losing his civil rights because of some lying piece of welfare trash.

I never said he was a hero.

I said he was with in his Rights to demand a tresspasser leave his property, and i don't care how a land owner does it.

Now I don't mind passers thru, and took down the signs here. But if i had a problem with a individual and he failed to leave post haste on a demand the next thing he would see is my .45 in his face.

Fail to leave then and anything goes. On my own place I am the LAW, not you, not the governor not no body me.

In my life I have told cops to get out twice, and they took the word to it's meaning, and left promptly.

Once I preformed a citizens arrest and the cops were not very happy about that either, but what was done was done.

That woman is luck nothing worse happened to her.

If you don't agree tell me where you live. We will test who has rights of property at your place ok?
