Head's up, peeps! Rumor has it that due to a huge solar storm today, we may be treated to an awesome Aurora Borealis display. Southern NH is in the outer fringes, but you never know--I'm sure hoping for a sky show! Let's try to check in over the weekend with reports of anything that you see. Good night, all

Did anyone get anything? Would be very cool to see, especially so far away from the usual site to see the phenomenon.

I looked outside at 2, 3 and 4 in the morning, but we had almost complete cloud cover in southern NH. Thanks for the notice.

They did see them in Anchorage, here's the link to a lovely pic: Best of August 2011: Best of 2011 | Alaska news at adn.com (http://www.adn.com/2011/08/03/v-gallery2/1998863/best-of-august-2011.html - broken link)
