Gee, sorry that nobody has given you any answers to your question. I've heard wonderful things about schools in North Hampton. I don't have any personal experience, but have family in the area who won't go anywhere except Portsmouth Regional Hospital (super convenient to Dover) Hampton... well Portsmouth is probably the best option. Depending on what side of Hampton you are on, Anna Jacques in Newburyport or Exeter Hospital would be considerations. Are there specific needs (orthopedics? cardiac?) I travel to Children's Hospital Boston on a regular basis, if there is a specialist you need, you can find one there!!

One of the best school districts in the area is Exeter (part of SAU 16 -http://www.ercsd.k12.nh.us/) If I can help with any more info, please post again, or feel free to PM me...

Smile Seacoast living...

Sorry I didn't see your post, it was a busy week! We're on the seacoast near No. Hampton & the Hampton area and head to Portsmouth Regional Hospital too. It's definitely a great hospital with a terrific medical staff, my parents won't go anywhere else and I'm the same way now, and we're from Boston where the MGH and all the wonderful institutions are that people go to from around the world. We're pretty fussy from having those type of places at our fingertips, from living there. Well, we STILL make sure we have access to Boston Hospitals and Doctors, but having the Portsmouth Regional Hospital staff right here near your home, you're going to find them to be just as good. When we first moved here over 30 years ago, we were going to the Exeter Hospital. Back then it was just okay, then it went down hill for so many years. Well, in the last couple of years now, it's got completely different people running the show there and it's on the A-list again, and it's quite the place now, more than ever before. I would say either hospital in the area would be ideal to have access to.

Sorry I can't tell you too much about the schools, my nieces and nephews were in private schools, they made out too and are in good colleges now, working hard in their classes as I write this. I can tell you that I saw the Exeter High School complex in the last year and couldn't believe how beautifully built it was! It's brand new and just stunning, I was SO impressed with that place. It's got everything inside that building too for the kids! I know that Winnacunnet High School in Hampton has a new addition and it's quite a complex now too. It used to be that the kids were crammed in, but I guess they're NOT any more from what we're hearing. Those days are over, there's room for them to breath now! It's actually about time, that was like that since my younger sisters went to school there! THAT's why my nieces and nephews were all in private schools because they didn't want them to have that same experience that they had, they were NOT impressed with it back then! So these kids now that are in school on the seacoast, are lucking out big time, trust me on that, they have NO idea either, on just how fortunate they are with it all now!

Good luck with your search for the right area. I think personally you'll really like the seacoast south of Portsmouth. It's extremely convenient, it's all in what you're used to too though. But I find that we can shoot down to Boston in no time. We're down there a few times a month and it's just so great being able to get there in no time. It's only 45 minutes to an hour from this part of the seacoast, you can't beat it. We go to dinner in Newburyport or Amesbury and we can get to Cape Anne in no time, head up to Portsmouth, Newcastle or Kittery, York, Ogunquit in no time and that's really part of the beauty of living here too, you're going to really enjoy living right near the ocean on top of it all! You won't want to live any where else I bet, once you move here!
