Hi - Still collecting information for a move next year

Am currently looking east of a line from Hillsboro to Winchester in Monadnock county. Would love to hear any pro / cons of these towns. I am especially interested in areas that are more country or remote feeling than others.

Many Thanks

Fitzwilliam is nice, however their property tax rate is stupid high because the town is run by moonbats.

Rindge is nice, tax rate is not as high, only complaint is the town is now run by moonbats so expect the tax rate to increase over time.

that's pretty much any town in the Monadnock area! pros: lovely little towns. cons: remote, takes a while to get anywhere (like work, mass transit for visitors...) and snowy. If you odn't mind those.. it's beautiful!

And don't forget if you get an ice storm and loose power you're not top priority to the bigger towns and cities so be prepared to have other accommodations or ready to hunker down with a generator if you're smart enough to get one. plus the taxes out there are crazy high
