I would probablly hike Monadnock. I've hiked Chocoura a few times years ago and look at it almost every day. I have never hiked Monadnock and it is in a different part of the state than where i live so that would be nice.
I've hiked Monadnock several times, but never Mount Chocouroa. I love to look at it from down below, and have so many pictures of that rocky top. Perhaps this will be the summer that I climb it

I am thinking later this month.. still deciding.. there are a few other hikes I want to do also
I'd like to do Monadnock sometime. I assume mid-week is a good time to do it? I believe it is one of, or maybe even the most climbed mountain in New England? Would like to avoid the crowds!

I heard Monadnock is the 2nd most climbed mountain in the WORLD next to Mt Fuji.
I hiked there many years ago on a nice weekend day and, at the bottom, the white dot trail was as crowded as a shopping mall after Thanksgiving. It thinned-out after the first fairly steep section. Before we started I took noticed from the parking lot that the summit looked fuzzy. When I reached the summit I realized the fuzzy stuff was humans.
