Why don't you just bring your birth certificate?

Maybe, maybe not. In some jurisdictions vendors cannot accept expired ID as proof of age. Of course it'll probably come down to the discretion of the bouncer who may or may not be familiar with the law regarding acceptability of expired ID, whatever the law is in NH. Worst case scenario, have some friends who are already 21+ have a ready supply of stock in their pad so you can celebrate at their place.

Invite your friends over and drink at home. It is cheaper and safer.

When I renewed my license They didn't take my current license away, they just gave me the receipt and a paper copy, and said that i won't get my new one after i turn 21, which is in 2 weeks. and in new york if u renew your license within 40 days u get the under 21 taken off.
