Hi there, I am currently living near Baltimore, MD but may be relocating to Portsmouth in the early fall. Currently I am endeavoring (meaning still planning for the most part!) to homeschool my young daughter who has autism. I am interested in joining a group that would offer support, resources, perhaps some outings and classes? Also, are there any umbrella schools in the area? I haven't yet explored the requirements for NH but there is enough time for me to do that. Other living possibilities include Exeter and Dover. Thanks in advance for your replies.
Your best best is to contact the leaders of various groups and they will probably point you in the right direction.
New Hampshire is a great place to homeschool and the laws/regulations are not too burdensome; they are actually getting better with the new legislation this session.
