Anybody successfully using AT&T around the west side of the White Mts along the I93 corridor? Their service map shows good service, but that doesn't mean much. I'm in Lincoln right now and may stay here.
I have an unlocked iPhone and use a service that uses T-Mobiles towers. There is spotty service on the east side but none on the west.
I hate to give up my iPhone and would go with AT&T if it works on the west side. Or any other service that uses a sim card work on the west side?
Thanks
Unfortunately I have AT&T for my work cellphone and honestly, it's near useless in New England as a whole... We do have a place in Lincoln and in town, you're good, but once your heading up 93, you'll lose the signal.
Verizon works really well up there as do US Cellular.
I have Verizon and my frequent hiking partner has AT&T. I usually have service when he doesn't- that said in many parts of the mountains neither of us has service just because of simple topography (radio waves don't penetrate granite very well).
