Hi All! I'm new to this forum. When I was growing up, we spent a few weeks every summer at Rocky Ledge Shores on Lucerne Avenue in Weirs Beach. It had cottages and housekeeping units. (Way, way, way back, it was called Model Motel and Cottages - I'm talking in the 60's!) I know sometime in the 80's (not exactly sure) the cottages were removed and they turned the motel building into privately owned condos. Pine Trail Cottages and Abakee Cottages were also on Lucerne Ave. I believe Pine Trail also became individually owned units. Does anyone know if Rocky Ledge Shores is still there, and if so, do they rent the condos? Is there someone I can contact? I can't find anything online about this. There's no website. I haven't been to NH in about 12 years. I miss it so, so, so much. I live in the South now so it's not a very convenient drive, but one of these years I want to take my family and stay in the same place I stayed when I was a kid. If anyone has any info, I would SO appreciate it! Thank you!

Hi Cinnamon Harvest, I also grew up going to Rocky Ledge Shores but in the 80s. They are still there but they are privately rented. The overall owner, Tony, used to rent them for the condo owners, but I am not sure if he is still there, I am sure some family member is still there as he had 9 daughters. And Abakee Cottages are also there, and I hear they are very nice cottages at reasonable prices. I will be going there in a month or so to finally get a short vaca, and I am going to find out what is there and what is not.
