Hi all,

Well my husband finally has a tentative job offer in Portsmouth.
We would like to move closer and get a bigger house.

Are single family home rentals available?
We need a 3 bedroom, 2 bath anywhere from Portsmouth, Dover, Exeter, Durham....those areas.
Budget is around $1500. Is that unrealistic?

I am not finding any real ads on CL and I don't know where else to look. I have looked at NNREN.com but those are mostly apartments.

Anyone have any advice as to where to look!?

Thanks!!

Drive up and get a copy of every newspaper in areas of consideration.

Some newspapers have web views by you may still have to purchase such.

I have rented for over 30 years.
I use newspaper ads solely.

You may wish to visit or call all local Real Estate agents in area of consideration as some also do house rentals.

Thanks! Yes I did look this afternoon online at the newspapers. Didn't find much. I need to find a Realtor in the area.

Thanks!

IMO, $1500 is unrealistic especially for Portsmouth. You will generally pay $1k more for that in Portsmouth.
