Hey all,
I am from Epping, NH (over by exeter) and I love to go country line dancing. My cousin took me one time and now I'm hooked. I'm really missing it and want to find a place to go that's closer to me than my cousin is. I really enjoy the bar/pub dancing atmosphere but I'm not 21 so most bars/ pubs don't or won't let me and my friends in. But really at the end of the day we are just looking for a good spot to stomp the wood and slap some leather. Anyone know any good spots in my area? Thanks!
The Rockingham Ballroom in Newington might be the closest for you. They have Wednesday night 6:15 to 7:30 Beginner classes, then Intermediate class with open dancing from 7:30 to 9:30. It's reasonable ($8) and most likely not age restricted like a bar would be.
The Yard restaurant on the Manchester/Londonderry border has line dance lessons from7:30 to 8:30, then live country music on Saturday nights, but that is a 21+ event. I've never been but it sounds like a great time

Just the place I was going to mention, but they're in Newmarket not Newington. Or is there more than one?

Thank you for that correction, Dave! It's funny, because I know exactly where it is (on Ash Swamp Rd) but for some reason my fingers typed Newington... see, don't believe everything you see typed

Don't feel bad, when I first typed my reply it read "but they're in Newington not Newington", caught it before I posted
