I know it depends on experience, education,....but on average what is the pay for an Administrative Assistant or someone in that field? I have 10 years experience working in hospitals doing all sorts of clerical/Administrative work and have made anywhere between $12 to $22 (current). When I look on Salary.com, they say salary in NH is around $40000/year but Indeed.com says average is around $14.50/hr. This is a huge difference Thank you for all help

In general pay is lower, in some jobs a lot lower, in NH than our southern neighbor. That is why I spent over 25 years working in Massachusetts instead of New Hampshire.

I would check Indeed.com for hourly rates. MA companies tend to pay more but you'd have to consider the MA state income tax (5.25%0, the commute cost, and the commute time to see if it is worth it.

The MA state income tax rate is 5.10% not 5.25%.
