A depression is an ongoing decline with no recovery.
It'll recover in time. some how. As I've heard, a lot of the trouble with the Great Depression was the way it was handled/ignored. We have been able to learn from it, and things aren't being handled the same way.

For many people even the previous depression wasn't as bad as movies/books and such make us think. Sure, it was like that for some people. Not all. A lot depends on the sort of job you have, and how creative you are or willing to change jobs or do more.

The stocks will still rise at some point. Now is not the time to be cashing things in. Ok, if you're in your 80s or 90s the market could be a problem, but if you're young.. just hold tight. Try to only invest in things people will always need. Always gotta wash your clothes don't you?

My friend who had the nervous breakdown became a courier around DC, now she's a photographer.

Nothing will change in this country until we vote out Congress. Until we throw out the political class, they will steal everything we earn. They will leave the last, best hope for mankind as nothing more than another corrupt, socialistic, third world country with no rights and no American Dream.
Why bother listening to the media's doom and gloom negativity when you can listen to that!!!! WOW! Even FOX sounds more inviting .
