Ashworth has a great location...Saunders will probably be closed by the time you get here, instead there will be condos (God, help us). There are great non-seafood restaurants in Portsmouth, and Roberts of Maine in Kittery (same owner as Bob's Clam Hut) is one of our favorites. Have fun!

Default food... mmmmmm

You could try Ron's Landing, just a couple blocks north of The Ashworth. Excellent food (try the Toasted Almond Salmon ) for a special meal out. It's a bit pricy, but great views and nice atmosphere. There is also Rays, and what's the name of the place that always runs the twin lobster special? Right on Rocky Bend?? Anyone know if "Rays" is open? Seems that some of the long-time restaurants are changing or closing

Anyway, the Ashworth used to have a fantastic Sunday brunch/buffet, anyone know if it's still there? A short trip inland to the town section of Hampton is the Old Salt/Lamies for a brunch beyond compare (mmmmm... dark chocolate water fountain just perfect for coating the fruit offerings ) Enjoy!!

Lots to see on the coasts of NH and Maine
We are not sure where we are going to stay in Maine. I'm thinking about Belfast. We saw Nubble Light when we came up last year but we haven't been to Ogunquit, I will have to google it!
