Been a while since I wrote as we had plans for Tennessee, however, we have decided to head back home after 15 years in SW Florida. Looking for info on the Conway, N Conway, Tamworth area. HOw are the home prices? Even a mobile on its own land would be OK. Maybe some info on part time jobs?? We lived in the Exeter, Rochester, Dover area and would like to head for the hills, one extreme to the other. What's anyone got to say?? Thanks for any response.

Congratulations on your decision to move back to N.H..We're pretty much in the same boat as you. Were just waiting to sell the house in Florida to return to N.H. We bought a cabin just south of the area you're looking at a little over two years ago thinking we could sell down here sooner, but we're still here. The area where you're looking is a really nice area. You might have to travel a little for work depending on what you do. DM me and i can let you know the realators i delt with.Good luck with your move.

I live in N. Conway. There are plenty of homes for sale. A 3 bed, 2 bath generally sells for $175k and up. There are a few mobile homes on their own land, but they usually go for the same price as a home (maybe a little less). There are a few mobile home parks, but, obviously you'd rent the land there. The homes there are anywhere from $20k-$80k.

Being a tourist town, you'll see a lot of full and part time jobs in the retail and hospitality industry. The local paper has a good help wanted section.

Hope that helps!

Thanks so much for the info. We are taking a huge chance going from SW Florida to the north country, but what the heck we are both New Englanders and surprisingly do miss home. I will check around with real estate people and also for some jobs. Full time/part time does not matter. You do have to eat and have a roof over your head lol.
